Look for a Good Feeling
One of the simplest and most effective ways I’ve found to navigate life is to look for a good feeling. This starts with awareness. When I feel tense, frustrated, or overwhelmed, I’ve learned to recognize that my thinking is clouded. Instead of trying to force myself into a better mood, I pause and give my mind space to settle—like letting muddy water clear.
Whether it’s taking a walk, stepping away from the situation, or sitting quietly, I create room for clarity to return naturally.
A good feeling isn’t something to chase or create—it emerges when we stop fighting or fixing our thoughts. It’s not about pretending everything is okay but about connecting with the peace that’s always within us. In those moments of calm, decisions feel easier, and life seems lighter.
Solutions arise from a place of wisdom rather than fear or urgency.
This isn’t about effort or a technique to master—it’s about recognizing when your mind is unsettled and allowing space for clarity to return. By waiting for a good feeling to guide me, I approach challenges with more ease and discover a deeper resilience in navigating life’s ups and downs.
